The moment I walked into the room Mr Ahmed put me at ease with his courteous and bright manner. I particularly liked the fact that Mr Ahmed made eye contact and didn’t look at the computer whilst talking with me. He took plenty of time to provide full, clear details on the results of my operation and follow on treatment and checked in a very personable way to ensure I understood completely. All my questions (big and small) were answered fully with Mr Ahmed pausing for thought when needed, which gave me the impression his replies were directly relating to my questions and not just a general response given without some thought. That helped towards making me feel completely confident in Mr Ahmed. Mr Ahmed took time to ensure I was aware that I could talk at any time going forward to a member of the team if needed so I wasn’t now on my own, he definitely made me feel cared for. I left completely satisfied that I wasn’t missing any information. In my layman’s opinion, there isn’t anything I could suggest that could have improved my consultation with Mr Ahmed. Mr Ahmed wasn’t the surgeon that performed my operation however, I would feel very confident if he were. All the Wycombe Breast Unit staff have made my journey a smooth one, what a superb team.

I was given clear information, made to feel relaxed and able to participate in the discussion. Clearly competent and knowledgeable. The support team interacted well, showing clear respect for all their roles within the process of patient care. I feel I am in safe hands.

I met Mr Ahmed on a number of occasions and he performed my surgery. He was caring, professional, attentive and humorous. He reassured me and my partner, answered our questions and inspired confidence. He appeared to work well with the nurses and other staff and demonstrated mutual respect for his colleagues. It is difficult to suggest any improvements; however Mr Ahmed spoke quite fast and a slower pace might improve his communication skills.

Mr. Ahmed removed a large cancerous lump from my breast on December 28th. He was pleased to tell me yesterday, 15th Jan. that the cancer had been removed. I was completely satisfied with every aspect of his treatment and his caring attitude. He has an extremly warm personality and gave me complete trust in all he said.
